At Stepaside Eyecare we aim to provide a level of service and care that is second to none. We ensure that each person has all the time they need to have a thorough eye test and lots of helpful advice when it comes to discussing frames, lenses and contact lenses.
Eye Examinations
During an eye test Joseph will measure your vision, determining if there is a need for glasses. The checking of eye health is an important part of your eye examination and Joseph will do this by looking into your eyes, measuring eye pressures and assessing peripheral vision.

Contact Lens Fitting and After-care
Many people can benefit from the freedom that contact lenses provide. We use the latest technology in lenses and fitting techniques to ensure that comfort, vision and safety are enhanced for every wearer.

Driving Reports
To ensure we can see well when driving, driving reports are required for provisional licences and for many renewals. Good vision helps to improve road safety.

Colour Vision Tests
This is an important test to pick up colour vision defects early. This allows us to offer advice on careers, hobbies etc. Colour vision problems are much more common in males than in females.

Corporate Services
Stepaside Eyecare offer a Visual Display Unit (VDU) screening service to businesses. This helps to ensure that employees who use VDU’s are not suffering from unnecessary discomfort and eyestrain.

Home Visits*
If you or someone you know are unable to visit our practice for a full eye examination we can come to you. At Stepaside Eyecare we have a full home testing kit to provide domiciliary eye testing and advice on glasses. *Limited days
